He was born in Berlin but moved to Frankfurt at an early age. Growing up in that city led him to attend the early years of legendary Frankfurt club Omen which is where he discovered his passion and love for electronic music.
.
When he took the plunge into production it was alongside André Galluzzi under the Taksi moniker. Their collaboration paid off with a number of noteworthy productions including Schneesturm which Richie Hawtin licensed in 2000 for his Plus 8 label.
.
Fast forward a few years to the summer of 2006 and Brtschitsch decides to make the inevitable move back to Berlin, celebrating his return with an appropriate dance floor bomb with Twirl/Under out on Ostgut Ton.
.
In 2007  he started his own label Rootknox and in 2008 he teamed up with Anja Schneider to co-produce her first album Beyond the Valley. He also went on to produce Morning Glory with Gabriel Ananda, which was released on a Karmarouge compilation. Later that year saw him break into Groove Magazine’sTop 10 Live Acts for 2008, further cementing his reputation as one of the best live electronic acts out there.
.
Brtschitsch’s 5th solo album was released in the summer called Me, myself and Live. The title reflects the importance that he feels live performance plays in his life and the album draws on the energy of his live sets while fueling his stage appearance.
